It is hard to believe that we are leaving for China in the morning, just a few short hours away. As we were putting Julie to bed tonight, I realized that we will never go through quite the same routine again. Everything is about to change in a big way. My main emotion at this point is probably best described as cautious excitement. The excitement part is pretty obvious. The caution comes from having done this once before and knowing the challenges ahead. It reminds me of running a marathon: it is a tremendous experience that is worth every minute, but it is also really grueling at points. I am particularly concerned with how Julie will fare, so please pray for her! I will leave you with a picture of our family from earlier today. My next post should be from China!
