Although Julie still can't answer the question "what's your name," she will attempt to repeat after me if I say "My name is Julie" (one word at a time). However, her rendition sounds quite a bit different than mine! The cutest part by far is how she says "Julie." I'm not even sure how to spell it properly to represent how it sounds. Perhaps the best description I can think of is how Cookie Monster sounds when he says "cookie!" It's kind of a cross between "coo-kie" and "goo-kie," with a distinct break between the syllables. It's so cute I might just have to start referring to Julie as "my little cookie!" Maybe I'll get lucky enough to capture her saying it on video one of these days. Someday I'm sure she'll get a big kick out of hearing her first attempts at saying her name. Have I said it before that she's such a sweetie? I have? Oh. Well, I guess I just said it again then :-)
