Although local newspapers failed to pick up coverage, a long-awaited meeting took place last week at Einstein's Bagel shop in Wheaton, IL. Under the watchful eyes of their mothers, Miss Julie and Miss Addison said their first official hellos! They spent most of the meeting observing each other across a table while taking bites of cream-cheese-smeared bagels and grabbing for the straws of their mothers' drinks. A momentary crisis involving spilled water was quickly taken care of and the meeting continued as though nothing had happened. Toward the end of the proceedings, the two new friends sat next to each other for a brief photo shoot. Unfortunately, it ended in an untimely manner as Miss Julie dissolved into a tantrum. She is 2, after all!

I've been missing your blog! Such cute pic's and stories - thank you for sharing! I'd love to hear where you got the bows for her hair - looks like just the thing Bella needs for her baby fine hair. Are they velcro? Julie is getting so big - hopefully she potty trains soon for you - that diaper taking off stuff is pretty entertaining - but oh what a mess! Hugs and love for you. :)
