Well, winter has officially overstayed its welcome around here! I have started reaching into the depths of my brain to come up with new and interesting things to do indoors, all the while praying for spring to arrive! Our latest fun activity was based on a friend's idea to use cornmeal to make a modified indoor sandbox. I didn't have any cornmeal, so I used flour instead. Julie was completely engrossed in our flour fun!
We started out in the living room. Notice how clean Julie's hands are at this point.
Starting to experiment:
Here you can really see the flour falling:
Sweet profile:
Eventually we moved to the kitchen counter, for obvious reasons.
What fun would it be without putting it in one's hair?
Silly (unintentional) thumbs-up! This could be an ad for Julie's new line of eye make-up ;)
Ahhh, the best part was after we mixed water in with the flour and squished it in our hands.

Great idea! You are so creative in playing with her. I wish I had that talent. Good job!
I am IMPRESSED. I was wondering what kinds of things you did to fill those long, cold days!
