Nervous

The latest news in our house is that Larry has a pretty important job interview coming up. He had one interview on the phone and now he has a second interview. The job is not nearby, so they offered to interview via video conference, but Larry thinks it is important to go in person. So, we will be without him for 5 days as he travels. In addition to the interview, he's going to spend a few days exploring the area, attempting to learn as much as he can about things that matter to our family (churches, medical specialists, school services, etc.). I am super nervous about the whole thing...nervous about being without Larry for 5 days, nervous about the prospect of moving, nervous about all the transitions we would face, nervous for Larry and the interview itself...ahhh! But, then I think of this:

Acts 17:25-27
And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.

I am so grateful for the truth of God's word and it's power to counteract my nerves. One step at a time, His plan will unfold. I'll keep you posted!

Where is the job at? Good luck! I just read that same verse the other day and found a lot of comfort in it in my own personal set of circumstances. Keep us updated!
